Safer at Home

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has issued a statewide mask order. The order states a face covering must be worn in public in close contact with other people. The rule goes into effect Thursday, July 16th, at 5 pm and remains in place until July 31st, unless extended.
It added that all Alabama residents must wear a mask when within 6 feet of a person from another household in any of the following places: an indoor space open to the general public, a vehicle operated by a transportation service, or an outdoor public space where ten or more people are gathered. There are exceptions to this.
