Mr. Glenn Wills has travelled those roads less travelled. What started as a chance encounter became a mission. He has a collection of close to 15,000 photographs taken from all over Alabama’s 67 counties of buildings, and places that time seems to have passed by. We will be having a presentation here at the library on Thursday, July 20th at 5 pm. There is no charge to attend. Seating is limited to 50 people, so if you plan to attend you had better come early.
A few weeks ago we had Mr. Bob Tarter from NHECM educate us all about wild animals. During his show, he mentioned the fastest animal in the world the Peregrine Falcon. Here is a link to a video and more information on the bird. Click on the link Peregrine Falcon
Here is Mr. Bob Tarter from NHECM (National Historical Educational Company of the MidSouth) who brought along some really cool animals for the startup of our Summer Reading Program presentations.
