These are some pictures from last week’s visit (Wednesday June 8th 2016), from Big Bend Wildlife Sanctuary. It was a very enjoyable and informative experience. I think the children (and some of the adults too), left the show knowing some important things to do when taking care of injured animals. Both John and Beth (and 2 younger volunteers), certainly have a lot of work on their hands when it comes to looking after the animals. If you get a chance visit their website at www.bigbendwildlife.org to get more information.
They brought along with them a Raven, A Grey Horned Owl, an Opossum, A Skunk (de-scented), A Turtle and a Tortoise, and a very rare Albino Blue Jay.
